University of Southern California – Polish Music Center

The Polish Music Center USC collects autographs, sheet music and recordings of Polish music, as well as books, articles and other materials on the Polish music culture. PMC also organises concerts promoting Polish music and artists and the so-called Annual Paderewski Lectures – dedicated to the works of the greatest contemporary Polish composers. The lectures have been taking place since 2002 and up till now their participants have included Zygmunt Krauze (2002), Joanna Bruzdowicz (2003), Stanisław Skrowaczewski (2004), Marta Ptaszyńska (2005), Krzysztof Meyer (2007), Wojciech Kilar (2008) i Henryk Mikołaj Górecki (2009), Paweł Łukaszewski (2011), Krzesimir Dębski (2013). Lectures on the works of Zygmunt Stojowski (2006) and Karol Szymanowski (2012) were also organised, as well as exhibitions dedicated to Paderewski (2002/2003; 2010/2011).
