International Society for Polish Music, named after Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Warsaw

The International Society for Polish Music named after Paderewski in Warsaw (Międzynarodowe Towarzystwo Muzyki Polskiej, MTMP) was established in 2006 by a group of Polish culture enthusiasts and lovers. The objective of the Society is broadly defined protection of the entire Polish musical output. The President of the Administration Board of MTMP is Karol Radziwonowicz, a world-renowned pianist and pedagogue. MTMP was the main organiser of the International Conference entitled "Ignacy Jan Paderewski –Virtuoso of the Polish revival in Europe. The heritage of values for today's choices", organised to celebrate the 70th death anniversary of Ignacy Jan Paderewski on the day preceding the Polish Presidency in the European Union. MTMP is a sister society to Die Internationale Paderewski-Vereinigung zur Förderung der Polnischen Musik based in Basel.
