The importance of Ignacy Jan Paderewski in the history of our homeland and Polish spiritual culture cannot be overestimated. This great artist and world-renowned virtuoso devoted a large part of his life to the service of his homeland. He always emphasized: “I was hoping to become someone prominent in order to help Poland, and this hope, and duty at the same time, always stood above my artistic aspirations”. This dream came true – Paderewski earned the worldwide respect as an artist, and in time also as a builder of the Independent Poland.
The exhibition presents the wide-ranging activities Ignacy Jan Paderewski undertook in the field of art and politics.
The exhibition is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mon.); and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Tue.-Fri.). Free entrance.
