Music prints

Printed music constitute a significant part of the collection of I.J. Paderewski, consisting of almost 4,000 copies. The most important pieces are the editions of the works of Paderewski himself and the works of other Polish composers, including Karol Szymanowski, Mieczysław Karłowicz, Władysław Żeleński, Apolinary Szeluta, Ludomir Różycki, Zygmunt Stojowski, Stanisław Lipski, and others. Scores and piano transcriptions of famous operas (mostly by romantic authors, but also by Jean Baptiste Lully, Jean Philippe Rameau, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) and symphonic works (mainly musical literature of the 19th and 20th centuries) are also numerous. The collection of printed music includes popular anthology series, such as Great Composers of the Past, Famous Composers and Their Works, and The Century Library of Music series, co-edited by Paderewski.
